    This company is a joke. They tell you that they have loads of work. Than they never even call you after you speak with them. I even know the owner and don't even get called for jobs that I am well over qualified for and they know this. They are also rude to talk to and don't even try to find people jobs.Fair warning to anyone looking to work for a staffing company.Avoid this company they are a joke.

    Nothing but a bad experience with this agency. No follow through, no commitment to job recruits. Rep did NOTHING after my interviews with the company to close the job offer. Thought I had the job, or at least a second position that was coming up, but got a non-select letter THREE MONTHS after it was suppose to be mailed to me, according to the postage machine stamp on the envelope. No call from the Ashley Ellis recruiter, not then and not since. Twenty-five years of computer experience, including network administration, and the last eight years in web design and development. Interviewing more on my own now, than any recruiting agency has ever done for me.

    These guys are horrible. They never looked at my resume. They took it, but didn't look at it. They sent me and my wife to a place doing a type of work completely outside our fields of expertise. As a metrologist (I measure stuff in a lab) by trade, they put me in a material handlers position. We both worked the whole shift, even though we were not given our breaks, and the supervisor at the client site kept telling us he was afraid we were going to leave early. I was injured on the job, and called in to the office the next day to explain to them that I had been hospitalized that night, and that I didn't think the client position was a good fit for either of us (my wife almost has her degree and hasn't worked any type of position in 5 years. They put her in strenuous, high-speed production without giving her breaks. It took her three days to recover). They wouldn't answer the phone in the office, and wouldn't return my calls when I left a message. So, I went to the office on Monday to explain why we weren't at the client site on friday. They were incredulous. Said they had never had anyone who had went to that client say they couldn't handle the assignment, even though the client and other workers on the site said most people that came out to their facility left after only a couple of hours. Moreover, they said our checks for that day would be mailed out the day before Thanksgiving. The mail ran Friday, Saturday and Monday, and no check. We went to the office to find out what happened, they said they hadn't gotten a time slip. But they confirmed our work hours with the client at the 10 hours from that day. The pay rate was supposed to be $8.50per hour. We got a call back an hour later from someone that was supposedly an owner, that was snide, rude and threatening. He claimed he could hold our pay for up to two more weeks, if he wanted, and wouldnt pay us until he got a time slip from the client because "i dont make money until I get that slip to bill them with, and I'm not gonna pay you until I get it". It is not the worker's responsibility how they recoup their money. We worked, and expected to be paid. They did send out checks later that week to us, but after they reduced our pay rate from $8.50 to $7.25 and the hours from 10 hours to 9. They also decided to take out $25 for various fees. The owner also made a bunch of rude remarks about the hardships I had mentioned to the office staff when we were there, that we were on the edge of befalling because the paychecks were not done on time: Namely, the fact that my cell phone service went out the day after Thanksgiving, and an app on that phone was my wife's primary means of accessing her college courses. The owner kept making snide comments about our "Obamaphones" and her "Obamacollege", which were stupid since neither are paid for by Obama (and because I didn't vote for him either time). If they were, there wouldn't have been an impending hardship. In short, we were banned from working for them again, but who would want a business relationship with someone like that? Finally, they threatened to arrest me if I walked back in their office again because I told the guy he was being a jerk for no reason, and also told me they would press charges on me if I so much as walked down the sidewalk in front of their office. Good luck with that. And all that because I asked to be paid for the work we actually did. I did not ask for anything special.

  • DO NOT take a job from...

    Absolutely the worse employer I have ever come across in my career. They charge you for your drug test and background screening. They are extremely ignorant when it comes to their clients they represent and staff for. They provide you bogus job descriptions. Once you take an assignment you'll see. If you end an assignment (ex. for better job offer that is a permanent position) your last check will be for minimum wage. RemX staffing will state all their assignments are temp to hire. They are not. And RemX will not tell you the truth about any of their clients because of their own ignorance in their own clients. What employer would want to use RemX to fill their empty positions? Health benefits.... the worse I have ever seen an employer offer. Do not ask them question referring to those. They do not know nor how you would enroll.

    New staffing firm that has no experience in staffing. The owners talk a great game in the beginning of checking in every week and doing the right thing....this lasted 1 week. Every time you call they are too busy to get on the phone and return calls are a coin flip. When finally placed on a job assignment I was misinformed so much about the position my 8 hour day was per misery. They bad mouth their client's employees as to being bad to work with on the first day...not encouraging walking into a new position. On one of my check ins (since they do not call anymore) I asked about a new opportunities and was told they do not feel they would be able to fulfill a position for me. Not a phone call or email. There are plenty of staffing companies out there I would give my business too! Having a part time business of my own and the networking I do, do I will be pointing whoever I meet away from Remedy.   • Time saver

    We have used Ashlee at Kelly Services on Spicewood Springs in Austin several times. I have found it is a huge time saver for them to have pre screened for my positions and they are very good at sending they type of employee we are looking for. This really cuts down on interview times and poor job placement. We have used them for temp. services and Temp to hire as well. That says a lot about the quality of personnel they send to us if we are willing to buy out the contract and keep the person on full time with us. The are flexible with their contract terms and more than willing to adjust to our needs as they change.

    I was told the company I had applied for had all the software I needed to do my job. They did not. I was hired at the last minute at bottom dollar and when I asked for the tools to do my job I was told I was lucky I had a job.

    It has been a few years since I have need job replacement; but I last needed employment services, I worked for Express Personnel. It is a family owned business, whereas "Barb" and Bob were friendly, assisted me with improving my employment skills weaknesses; yet they placed me within jobs immediately. They offered short-term assignments when I needed them, and they placed me on long-term assignments and eventually permanent job-placement. If you arent as polished as you'd like, but are positively motivated to improve and work, please visit Express Personnel Services.

    In selecting contractors for a Information Technology project, I used Lockheed Martin to hire 12 contractors. The process was slow due to having to work through the USACE but the contractors available were very experienced. I would recommend them when looking for senior level contractors.

    My last employer is a market research company. I started as an interviewer calling clients to ask their opinions on products and services that concern them, such as how they would like their county or home community to spend their tax dollars. Others were companies such as FPL. I was then moved into the Quality Control dep. In this position I reviewed the interviewer work to ensure they were working in compliance with the companies policies and the objectives of the client. I would meet with the interviewer to correct any deficiencies. Previous to this type of employment I have years of experience working in the medical and non staffing medical field. This included scheduling, recruiting, marketing. I made home visits to ensure client and nurse satisfaction. I would cold call when needed to reach the decision makers of hospitals, nursing homes for referals. I was the liaison between customers, nurses and family members. My staffing experience also includes supplemental staffing. This was an extremely face paced position because of the nursing shorted at the time.

    CLP was pretty good in the beginning. They got a pretty good job that led to working for the the company that sub contracted CLP. But towards the end they were getting funny about pay checks and communication was not clear on there part but overall they did find me a great job.

    Worked for Manpower Temporaries back in 2000 while living Highlands County at their Lakeland Office. It was interesting as I worked for an Attorney's office assisting his paralegal making copies, answering phones, typing correspondence. They also gave me an assignment working at Dept. of CHildren & Family Services serving families in the community with clerical duties. I was also employed with them in the capacity of a Receptionist/Transcriptionist in a Medical Office. I verified insurance, scheduled appointments, prepared back office for therapists; and transcribed their therapy notes. I had a wonderful experience working for Manpower Temporaries in Lakeland Florida.

    3 Years ago I went to Randstand to help me find a position in hotel housekeeping. This agency found a job for me right away that I kept for one year before I transferred to a permanent job with another hotel. I would definitely use them again if I needed to look for this type of position in the future.

It took nearly a month to get placed in the company. He had promised to get a full/permanent position, which had never happened. After being let go from Liberty Medical with no notice after working, I had to call companies and find where to get placed. Again, Wes had promised a permanent position, whicagain, never happened. Now Im looking for another job.

    I worked for them several times either on assignment and eventually in office in their sales and finance departments. They worked hard to match individuals to the appropriate job and were very glad when the position became a permenant one for the client. I enjoyed working for them as the atmosphere in the office was always upbeat and professional.

    I needed a job extremely bad, the job market was very tough at the time. I Went into Appleone and was greeted enthusiastically, helped me from get go with tons of energy on finding the right job for me. After completing their tests, giving them my resume (which they helped me perfect) they found several jobs that would well for me. They helped me prepare for the interview, followed up immediately after, and I got the job. Wonderful experience from start to finish. I didn’t feel like they were trying to shove me into any job, just to make their quota, received extremely professional service all the way till starting my new job. In fact the job was a great fit and i worked with the company for 4 years.

    In this business climate I have found it nearly impossible to recruit and/or attract potential employees on my own. No matter how creative our ad is it is apparently perceived as typical. There is no question as to the increase in response to our recruiting efforts when we use a third party specialist. It seems to be even more effective when the specialist is involved in the selection and training.We can't seem to do it alone anymore.The "way we always did it" isn't the way to do it today .     I went to MSI after graduating college in 2010 and recently moving to Ft. Lauderdale... they were patient, informative and helped me get a great job at a private, family owned, investment company in town. It was a perfect fit! I work for the most amazing family and have been with the company for over 11 years now-changing positions within the organization over the years. Our company has always used MSI Staffing as our 'go to' for temp staff, they always send candidates that are professional, efficient and eager to please- some have even stayed on as fulltime employees.
